Collin Flessner is Victory Auto Group’s Athlete of the Week
Do you know why Monday is awesome? It's because every Monday we get to feature students like Collin Flessner, East High School senior, who happens to be Victory Auto Group's Student and Athlete of the Week!
This past October, Collin was recognized with the AP Scholar with Distinction Award for earning an average of 3.5 on all AP exams taken with scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.
He has a 4.0 GPA and has been in the Top 5 of his class since fifth grade. As a member of the VEHS Speech and Debate Team, Collin is a state and national qualifier.
In January, Collin and his VEHS Challenge Teammates will complete in the second round of the trivia competition.
This year marks Collin's fourth and final year as a member of the Victoria East Boys Soccer team, serving as a team captain during the 2023-2024 season.
For his dedication as an athlete and scholar he is a 3 year recipient of the Academic All-District award. During the 2022-2023 season, Collin was chosen for 1st Team All-District and team Defensive MVP. Last season, he was named Co-Defensive MVP for District 29 5A also earning the honor of overall team MVP for the Titans!
As a testament to his love of the game and willingness to help his community, Collin served as volunteer referee during the VISD Middle School Intramural soccer games.
