Returning next year to Rodeo Houston will be the finale, full-length concert, and this year's headliner is Cody Johnson. The rodeo will take place from Monday, March 2, to Sunday, March 22, next year. The March 22 show will feature something that hasn't happened since 2022 - a full-length performance from Cody Johnson. And tickets for the concert will go on sale this week.

The finale concert for Rodeo Houston 2026 will feature a full-length set from Cody Johnson. This will be the fourth full-length concert in the history of Rodeo Houston, and I can't think of a more Texas performer to put on stage. Cody Johnson will perform on Sunday, March 22, 2026, and tickets will go on sale Thursday, August 21.

George Strait performed the last full-length set at Rodeo Houston in 2022.

The last full-length performance at Rodeo Houston was George Strait in 2022. Here is a clip of Strait performing "The Chair" at RH 2022. It's one of those moments where you get chills. This might be one of his most iconic songs of all-time.

This will be CoJo's sixth performance at Rodeo Houston.
Johnson's first Rodeo performance at Rodeo Houston was in 2017 and was an instant crowd favorite. I mean, how perfect is it that one of his most popular songs is "Dear Rodeo" - I would call this a match made in heaven. Johnson also performed in 2018, 2019, 2022, and 2023. His biggest attendance was in 2023 with more than 73,000 fans, and it should be easily passed for 2026. Since there is no rodeo, extra floor seats are added, and the attendance could hit 80,000 people.
