The Victoria Public Library will be open but will close early at 5 p.m.

Scheduled automated garbage, curbside recycling, yard waste and/or tree limbs will be collected Monday.

Riverside Golf Course will be open.

45th MLK Parade Downtown– Black Heritage Society’s 45th edition of the original Downtown parade will be led by City of Houston dignitaries, marching bands, floats, peaceful marches and more. The procession begins at Lamar and Smith Streets. 10am.

MLK Commemorative March - Celebrate and honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the annual MLK Commemorative March. The City of Corpus has partnered with the Corpus Christi Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority to host this year’s march.

The march will begin with a commencement program at 11:30 a.m. outside of city hall on the staples side entrance. The commencement program will also be live streamed on Facebook.

The march will kickoff from City Hall and end at the Church of the Good Shepherd.

The event is free and open to the public.
