There is plenty to do in the Crossroads for Kids for Christmas while still practicing social distancing safely, especially on Saturday, December 12th!

Santa Claus is coming to town, well... town AND the Victoria Mall. Santa is coming to Victoria Mall on Saturday, December 12th!  Santa's Workshop will be open from December 12th - December 24th.  Hours will be 11 AM - 7 AM and 12 PM - 6 PM on Sundays.  You can also catch Santa on Christmas Eve from 12 PM -  6 PM.!

How about having some merriment at the zoo? You better believe it! Christmas Nights @The Texas Zoo every weekend leading up to Christmas! The Texas Zoo is being transformed into a winter wonderland! Every weekend leading up to Christmas will be filled with hot chocolate, candy canes, SANTA, and awesome opportunities to get up close with some of their animal ambassadors while taking one of a kind Christmas pictures. All proceeds go directly back to our animal residents and the Texas Zoo mission! Wildlife Junction is open for all your Christmas shopping needs every day from 10AM-4PM!  Plus, Santa is swinging by to take present requests from every kiddo from 11AM - 2PM.

Gingerbread on Main looks like FUN! December 12th from 10 am until 2. Join VPL in Downtown Victoria as they present Gingerbread on Main! Drive down Main Street and pick up your gingerbread house kit, and something extra at each corner of DeLeon Plaza for a holiday night at home. No need to get out of your car. Library staff will hand everything off to you so that you and your family can stay safe this holiday season. The event will run from 10 AM until 2 PM, or until we run out of supplies. You won't want to miss it!

The Children's Discovery Museum is featuring Santa Day, Dec. 12th. Registration is required and the cost is $8.00 per person, but members are free when they register online through their membership portal. They will be open for 3 sessions on Dec. 12th; 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Come see Santa and enjoy the wonder of our only museum dedicated to the children in our community.

Have your children ever seen the ballet? “A PANDEMIC NUTCRACKER” happens December 10th through the 13th this year. Choreographed by Debbe Busby, the Victoria Ballet Theatre presents its first pandemic Nutcracker. It will look a little different this year but it will still be magical. Tickets are limited to ensure safe distancing. You can get your tickets by clicking here. It's a story no child ever forgets. 

Santa at the Victoria Farmers Market! Here is your opportunity to bring your children out to meet Santa and our local farmers and craftsmen and women during a very special Christmas at the Victoria Farmer's Market from 9 am until 1 pm. You will also be treating your kids to some local live music provided by Love Me Last too, all happening at the Patti Dodson Wellness Center parking lot.
