Celebrity Cole Hauser’s Fort Worth Police Officer Title
Actor Cole Hauser, who portrays Rip on the hit series "Yellowstone," is really settling into Texas!
He recently bought a coffee company in San Angelo, TX, "Free Rein." and is doing well promoting it all over. You see him pop up at rodeos and fairs all over Texas. He has now become a Police Officer in Fort Worth!
Well, sort of. Cole has been awarded Honorary Fort Worth Police Officer status with the Fort Worth Police Department.
An FWPD Instagram post read that Cole was given the Status as a "small token for his respect and support for the men and women in blue who serve our community and our military members and veterans."
The Fort Worth Police Department honored Cole partly because of what he and his investors give back to the Special Operations Warrior Foundation. The organization provides educational and other opportunities to the children of fallen service members.
The SOWF website says it provides comprehensive educational support, including academic advocacy, preschool, and private school grants, tutoring, support for students with disabilities, college readiness programs, full financial assistance for up to a four-year post-secondary degree, access to our college-to-career transitions program, a commitment to cover educational costs for the surviving children of Special Operations Personnel whose spouses perish while the Special Operator is actively serving while providing a variety of other practical programs and services.
Cole has been involved in numerous film projects, from the indie classic "Dazed and Confused" to the Academy Award-winning "Good Will Hunting." Hauser was also nominated for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male for his performance in Joel Schumacher's 2000 film "Tigerland."
