Bulb Sales to Benefit Women’s Study Clubs

Three Victoria women's study clubs are sponsoring a fundraising event for maintenance and repairs of the Victoria Women's Clubhouse. Bronte Study Club, Decora Study Club and Morning Study Club invite flower lovers to pre-order easy-to-grow bulbs online that will be delivered to the Victoria Women's Clubhouse Oct. 16-18. The bulbs are proven suitable for the Victoria climate and soil and many are hard-to-find varieties not available at local nurseries, says the Victoria Advocate. Pre-ordered and a limited supply of additional bulbs will be available for purchase at the Victoria Women's Clubhouse, 1408 N. Moody St. from 3 to 6 p.m. Oct. 16; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17; and 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 18. For more information, contact club members or call 361-575-5401.
