An incredibly heartbreaking murder of a mother and her 6-year-old daughter is finally giving the victims the justice they deserve.

HEARTBREAKING MURDERS

Nearly 14 years ago, a little girl was brutally drowned in her bathtub while her mother lay stabbed to death nearby. 51-year-old Gary Green, maliciously killed his wife, 32-year-old Lovetta Armstead, and her 6-year-old daughter, Jazzmen Montgomery, inside their Dallas home.

Armstead had given Green a letter letting him know she was going to annul their marriage, and 'although she loved him, she had to do what's best for her." Armstead replied with his letter saying, "They will be 5 lives taken today me being the 5th,” Green wrote.

2 LIVES SPARED

Green went inside their home and stabbed Armstead more than two dozen times; he then drowned Jazzmen in a bathtub. There were two more young boys in the home but their lives were spared after they convinced Green not to kill them.

During the trial against Green one of the 9-year-old boys sat in court and told jurors he, “Told (Green) because we’re too little to die and we won’t tell anybody about it," ultimately saving their lives.

However, tragically, their 6-year-old sister's life was not spared. Jazzmen Montgomery's death is heartbreaking but Green will now pay for it. He is set to receive lethal injection this week for his heinous crimes against Jazzmen and her mother.

He also through his precious daughter a high school graduation party, “That was my way of dealing with it, to make it feel like she’s still here. I prayed over her grave one day and I told her I would never let her name die down,” Montgomery said.
