Bryan, TX - The Generals traveled to Cellucor field to take on the Brazos Valley Bombers, as Wednesday was game two of the series.  Armando Arevalo was the losing pitcher. He played the whole game for the Generals, giving up 3 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 3.

The Generals got things started in the first inning when Cedric Vallieres came across to score to make it 1-0.

The 2nd inning for the Bombers would be a big one, as they scored 3 runs. The first two that came off of a 2 RBI double from Blake Kopetsky. Kopetsky would later come into score on a ground rule double.

In the 5th, the Generals would score their last run when Kyle Danford hit a RBI single to bring home C.J Pickering.

Zach Girrens, the starting pitcher for the Bombers, finished his game in the 6th inning. He allowed 2 runs on 5 hits and struck out 7 batters. He received the win.

Garrett Harris, who came in the 7th, was replaced on the mound by Cannon Chadwick in the 8th inning. Harris gave up no runs on three hits, while striking out 1. Chadwick allowed 1 hit and no runs, with 1 strikeout

The Generals will be back at Riverside Stadium Thursday, July 31st, to take on the Woodland Strykers. It is Alzheimer’s awareness night at the ball park so come out in your purple gear. The game is set to kick off at 7:05.
