Victoria Public Library iin collaboration with Victoria County United Way, Victoria Independent School District, Communities In Schools / Workforce Solutions of the Golden Crescent and the Victoria Adult Literacy Council will kick-off the new school year with a Back to School Bonanza on Thursday, August 13th from 1 – 4 p.m. The bonanza will be held on the grounds and inside Victoria Public Library. This event is an excellent opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate the start of a new school year. Families will be able to obtain information and resources from school, community, and government representatives. Attendees can look forward to: musical entertainment that will appeal to both kids and adults, story time presentations, craft time, poetry readings, reader’s theater, read aloud to the dogs from the Dorothy O’Connor Pet Adoption center, robotics demonstrations, food, fun and more.
