AMC is Offering .15 Cent Tickets at These Texas Locations

I know we don't have an AMC in Victoria, but for a $0.15 movie, it might worth a little road trip that can end with a stop at the Cheesecake Factory :).

Movie theatres have been closed throughout the United States since the beginning of this pandemic. That is slowly starting to change, with today's announcement from AMC.

AMC has announced plans to reopen more than 100 theaters in the U.S. a week from today on August 20th.  This will be the first wave of re-openings.  AMC, for one day only will charge $0.15 for one day only.  There will be a very limited quantity available as social distancing measures will be enforced.  Why $0.15?  The number is a momentary return to 1920 ticket prices, as a homage to the founding of the chain

The August 20th $0.15 cent admission will kick off several promotions that guests will find as they return to AMC theatres.   After August 20th, you will see throwback titles like  BLACK PANTHER, BACK TO THE FUTURE, GHOSTBUSTERS, GREASE, and STAR WARS: EPISODE V – THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.  Admission for these titles will be $5.  I guess no one else likes 'Howard the Duck' LOL

AMC is also offering an array of $5 food and beverage treats, including regular popcorn, regular Coca-Cola Freestyle drink, and KidsPacks. These deals will run through the end of October

AMC will also be moving forward with new releases in the coming weeks.
