Feeling paranoid on the road when a big truck passes you?

Well, you are not alone. There is an actual name for it, it's called ochophobia and it means the fear of other vehicles. But what about when the vehicle that passes you is hauling heavy metals or logs? Our minds really wander as a whole list of bad things that could happen cross our thoughts as we slow down or change lanes.

For one Texas woman, ochophobia might be a lasting issue after a metal drilling pipe came crashing out of nowhere, right through her driver's window while driving on the freeway.

Can you even imagine the shock of suddenly hearing and seeing your windshield shatter in front of you, then realizing a pipe could have impaled you?

It's like a terrifying scene from a Hollywood movie.

" My window exploded" offered Gage Martin as she explains in this KHOU Youtube video how shocked she was when the pipe came crashing through, inches away from the driver's seat.

The glass was everywhere and Martin says she could even taste the glass in her mouth.

Martin suggests that her faith is a part of what will help her process what happened. She was returning home after just dropping her daughter off from enjoying watching the Christmas traditional ballet, " The Nutcracker" in Houston.

She was driving down 1-45 just outside of Loop 610 when she noticed debris was flying by her, a split second later and she was veering across lanes in shock after what she says was a harrowing experience. "I just put it in God's hands," Martin says. She also offers that she won't be driving on the freeway for a while.

She is lucky to be alive.

Nothing short of a miracle.

Martin asks that drivers please properly secure their loads.
