
$1.6 Million of Cocaine Found in Soft Drink Shipment at Border
A huge cocaine bust happened at the Texas border. On January 31st, Customs and Border Protection officers inspected a tractor trailer making entry from Mexico. The manifest stated a shipment of soft drinks. But after physically inspecting the shipment, officers extracted 50 packages of cocaine weighing over 120 pounds concealed within the shipment. Roma Police Department started the investigation.
