A cold spell in Victoria usually means about three days of cold weather, and that is just what we have in the forecast this weekend!  Expected lows for tonight around 36.  Friday will be the coldest day of the early new year with high's only getting up to around 41 and the low is expected around 27 degrees and wind chills much colder.  There is a wind-chill advisory for parts of the Crossroads area which include: Victoria, Calhoun, Bee, Goliad, and Refugio counties on Friday morning.  Saturday has a forecasted high of 48 and a low of 28!  Next week, in true South Texas fashion we will be back in the upper 70s to near 80!  It seems like the only time of extended cold weather is during the Victoria Livestock Show and Carnival.  You know it's true!
