The Annual Wildflower Workshop will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 28 at the Welder Wildlife Foundation, near Sinton. Lynn Drawe, former director of the Welder Wildlife Foundation and well-known range plant ecologist, will lead workshop participants through an introduction to wildflowers and native plants and teach the steps for identifying plants using a key in the field, according to the Victoria Advocate. Drawe's program will include classroom instruction and activities in the field.

The workshop is limited to 25 people and pre-registration is required by March 21.
