We all have traditions right? Well, here are some weird traditions to bring in the new year from around the world. Hmmm are you willing to try some of these? I have to agree with Buzzfeed.com  that some of these are little weird lol

Argentina - At exactly 12:00, step forward with your right foot to start the year off with…YOUR RIGHT FOOT!

Australia - Walk through the streets banging loudly on pots and pans at midnight.

Brazil - Wear white to scare away bad spirits.

Britain - Watch Jools Holland’s Hootenanny, even though it’s awful and everyone hates it.

Chile Sweep your house inside out to remove bad energy.

Colombia - Walk around your block with an empty suitcase for a year full of travel!

Ecuador - Make a doll (more like an effigy) to burn to signify the burning away of the old year and the welcoming of the new one.

El Salvador - Crack an egg in a glass at midnight and leave it on the window sill over night. What ever figure it has made in the morning, that’s what your fortune will bring next year.

Finland - You tell your fortune by throwing melted metal into cold water.

Guatemala - At 12 am on New Years day, grab 12 pennies, go outside your house and throw the pennies behind you while you face the opposite side of the street.

Netherlands - Eat Oliebollen, which are like big oily balls of dough, deep fat fried and covered in icing sugar.

Phillipines - Turn on all the lights in the house on NYE to ward off evil spirits.

Puerto Rico - Fill pots and pans with water and throw the water out the front door once the clock strikes midnight.

Russia - Write down a wish on a piece of paper, burn it, throw it into a champagne glass, and drink it before 12:01.

Spain - You must eat a grape with each bell strike at midnight for prosperity.

Scottland - Immediately after the bells, the first-footing begins, which means being the first person across a friend’s or neighbor’s threshold.

Turkey - Get pomegranates and throw them from our balcony to the street below.

Venezuela -Wear yellow underwear for “good luck”.
