If you've passed by Town & Country shopping center on the corner of Airline and Laurent and noticed a bunch of local food trucks every so often well...get used to the sight.

A local campaign called "Shop small, Eat local" is designed to draw consumers to the local shops at Town and Country by way of yummy yummy food trucks.  And well.....it's going to be a monthly thing for the foreseeable future.

A post on their FB page confirms it:

"Well folks - I am happy to announce that #ShopSmallEatLocal will now be a MONTHLY event held at the Town and Country Shopping Center on the Corner of Airline. The 20+ shops at the Center will be offering Great Specials to show their appreciation to you for being loyal customers. We will also have a rotation of 6+ local food trucks set out in the front to satisfy your hunger as you continue to shop. Here at T&C, we like to think of every day as small business appreciation day - it's because of you, the customer, that we get to do what we love! Please mark your calendars for the 3rd Saturday each month and plan on coming out to celebrate with us! #ShopSmallEatLocal"

The next one happens tomorrow from 10-6.  Support small business and try some of the awesome local food trucks.
