Victoria Garden Tour Slated for Saturday and Sunday

Victoria County Master Gardener Association will hold its 2012 "Nature's Beauty Beyond the Gate" Garden Tour Saturday, Oct. 20, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 21, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. A sale of "highlighted" plants will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on the opening day at Hiller House, 3003 N. Vine St. Tickets are $15 each to view six home gardens and may be purchased at Devereux Gardens, 1313 N. Navarro; Earthworks, Main and Airline; and Victoria County A&M AgriLife Extension Office, 528 Waco. Tickets also may be bought at each location on the tour: 112 Park View, 107 E. Buena Vista, 405 Roseland, 114 Summit View, 401 E. Warren and 218 Ridge View. The event is sponsored by Newscenter 25 and The Victoria Advocate.
