Crossroads residents looking to make a difference can soon take their issues to the state. Victoria Day at the Capitol, a biennial event that allows Victorians to keep Texas legislators abreast of key issues for the region, is March 6, according to a Victoria Chamber of Commerce news release.

The daylong event includes briefings by state officials, a group photo, evening reception and delivery of commemorative gifts to key elected officials, according to the news release.

Transportation to Austin will be provided. The chamber hopes to have more than 100 Victorians in attendance.

For more information or to reserve a seat, call the chamber at 361-573-5277 or email randyvivian@victoriachamber.org.
