VHS Class Of ’77 Reunion Planned For July

It's that time of year... class reunions abound! Get ready VHS class of '77, it's your turn on July 28th!

The Victoria High School class of 1977 will host their 35th reunion from 6 p.m. to midnight July 28 at the Power Avenue Warehouse, 402 E. Power Avenue, says the Victoria Advocate. The theme of the reunion is Hawaiian, with Aloha and Pupu (greetings and snacks) beginning at 6 p.m. Attire is Hawaiian casual. The Luau (feast) of pork tenderloin will be served at 7:30 p.m., followed by the Hui (group) picture at 8:30 p.m. There will be Mele and Hula (music and dancing) from 9 p.m. to midnight. Beer and setups are provided (BYOB). Admittance is $35 per person. A Holoholo (walk around for fun) will be held at 7:30 p.m. July 27 at the 77901 Wine Bar, 221 S. Main St., from which people may "holoholo" to other downtown clubs and restaurants.
