The Victoria High School class of 1973 will hold its 40th reunion July 19-21. The event begins with dinner at 6 p.m. July 19 at The PumpHouse Riverside Restaurant, 1201 W. Stayton St., followed by drinks and social at 8 p.m. at the 77901 Wine Bar, 221 S. Main St.

Activities July 20 will include registration from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Homewood Suites, 6705 N.E. Zac Lentz Parkway, which will be the "base hotel", according to the Victoria Advocate. Beginning at 10 a.m., the Class of '73 Golf Outing - including graduates of Victoria High School, Stroman High School and St. Joseph High School - will begin at the Victoria Country Club. Also planned for July 20 are a photo at the VHS Stingaree at the former Victoria High School, now Liberty Academy; 11 a.m. lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings, 7905 N. Navarro St.; and at 4 p.m. The Big Event - start gathering at Club Westerner, 1005 W. Constitution St. For those who prepaid, the cost is $35 per person or $60 per couple. From 6 p.m. until midnight a barbecue dinner, catered by Andy Kocian, will be served.
