VC Pirates Day Wednesday

The Crossroads community is invited to meet Victoria College's men's and women's basketball and volleyball teams during VC Pirates Day on Wednesday. The VC Pirates men's basketball team will play a VC Pirates alumni team at 6 p.m. in the VC Sports Center gym followed by the women's basketball game at 8 p.m. Admission is free to all who wear a VC shirt. Regular admission is $3, says the Victoria Advocate. Free root beer floats will be served before the men's game and halftime challenges will be offered.

Prior to the games, VC students, faculty and staff are invited to attend a pre-game party at 4 p.m. outside the VC Sports Center. There, they can take part in the Pirate Booty Challenge with teams of four in activities such as a root beer chugging contest, a Minute to Win It challenge, a water balloon toss and other games.
