Valentine’s Day Thoughts
Valentine’s Day is almost here. Valentine’s Day brings bring some memories of childhood. I remember creating Valentines for every kid in my class and then having to make a box to hold all of my Valentines.
One year I won first place and all I did was cover it in hearts, I was so excited. Valentines is a day to show your loved ones how much you care.
I asked some of my friends what they did on Valentines and got some really neat and funny answers. I thought I’d share with you.
Bridgette with CVB said every year her daughter and her make homemade personalized cookies for her teachers. I thought that was really neat tradition to do with your kid.
Tori, another friend of mine, told me she puts pictures of all of my ex’s in a heart shape on a dartboard and for every “bulls eye” she gets – she treats herself to a bottle of wine… let’s just say she goes through lots of bottles of wine that night.
And my friend Lindsey remembers her mom would always make her heart shaped pancakes for breakfast so that a valentine present was waiting on her breakfast plate.
No matter what you do this Valentine’s, whether it’s going to dinner with your loved one or drinking a nice glass of wine, don’t forget to tell your loved ones what they mean to you. I hope all of you have the best Valentine’s ever. Happy Early Valentine’s Day!
