Country music stars will be a major part of NBC's Today Show Citi Concert Series.

The series lineup runs May through August, boasting country acts like Chris Stapleton, Zac Brown Band, Thomas Rhett, Brad Paisley and Jason Aldean, as well as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. However, of all the stars appearing, the most anticipated is '90s country superstar Shania Twain.

This summer appears to be the beginning of a major comeback by Twain, who is known for iconic country songs such as "Any Man of Mine" and "Man! I Feel Like a Woman!" Her last album, Up!, was released in 2002 and after a several year break, a Las Vegas residency brought her consistently back onstage from 2012-2014. In 2015 she also embarked on her Rock This Country Tour, her first major tour in over a decade.

The Today Show spot will mark a rare live TV performance for Twain, who appears on June 16. It's the same month she's set to release "Life's About to Get Good," her first new single in almost 15 years.

Other anticipated country performers include Stapleton and Brad Paisley, who have released new albums in 2017, with Zac Brown Band scheduled to follow. Non-country artists scheduled to perform on the Today Summer Concert Series include Ed Sheeran, Flo Rida and Harry Styles, who kicks off the series on May 9. Dates for McGraw and Hill, Camila Cabello and Bruno Mars have yet to be announced.
