Time to Play Ball Jaguars

The University of Houston-Victoria Jags are in Jackson, Mississippi. They are the fifth seed in the Jackson Bracket for the NAIA National Baseball Championship Opening Round. The Jags will play today at 11. Please take time below to wish them good luck!

The Jaguars (23-31) will face fourth-seeded Sterling (Kan.) in the opening game on Monday, with the winner advancing to face the top seed, Oklahoma Wesleyan (52-6) in the double elimination tournament. Sterling comes into the tournament at 39-18.

Also in the bracket will be second-seeded Oklahoma City (33-17) and third-seeded and host Belhaven (40-19).The Jackson Bracket is one of nine five-team opening round double-elimination tournaments that will open on Monday. The nine winners will advance to the 58th annual Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series at Harris Field in Lewiston, Idaho, on May 23-30. The will be joined by host Lewis-Clark State.
