Tim McGraw Surrounded By The Industry’s Powerful People

No matter how good you are, you don't make it by yourself in the country music business. It takes a lot of good people with a lot of good connections and a serious work ethic to make someone a "star" in this business. Tim McGraw is acutely aware of this.

Tim McGraw has been recording for 20 years, and while the superstar has endured his fair share of controversy in recent months, it hasn’t slowed him down one bit. Tim credits his success and longevity to the people he’s surrounded himself with. In an interview with CMT Daily Roundup, Tim said, “I’m very fortunate. I’ve been able to be around great people, great songwriters...great artists. I just...I’ve been able to put myself in a position to be surrounded by great people who have helped me guide my career in the direction I’ve always wanted it to go. That’s the beauty in anybody having a great career. It’s the people that are around you.” Tim’s Emotional Traffic album hits stores January 24^th.

Tim joins Kenny Chesney for the Brothers of the Sun Tour beginning June 2^nd in Tampa, Florida. The tour features special guests Jake Owen and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals.
