Thyroid Disease Support Group

Phoenix Johnson, a financial counselor who has fought thyroid disease for more than 20 years, is starting a support group.

"It's tough to find information and support systems," Johnson says. "I've done massive amounts of research, and I want to share all I've learned with others."

The meeting will be in the second-floor conference room of the Heritage Mark building at 5606 N. Navarro Street on Tuesday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m.

Admission is $10.
