Movie titles aren't just picked out of hat, it turns out. In fact, they almost always have something to do with the movie itself (they do indeed go back to the future in "Back to the Future").
This supercut features two minutes of 80 movie characters saying the actual title of the movie.

Ben Higgins, the sports director for San Diego's ABC affiliate, was in Tucson, Arizona on Thursday, where he covered San Diego State University's first ever NCAA tournament victory.
But what made his report so memorable was the part when a SUV darn near ran him over as the cameras rolled. Luckily for Higgins, the vehicle stopped just in the nick of time.
Since videos of television reporters actually being struck by things are fun too, we've included a bunch those after the video of Higgins' close call.

For the first time ever, a contestant on American Idol sang a song from '90s grunge-gods Nirvana. Casey Abrams, who missed a show last week when he was hospitalized for a bowel condition, kept the drama going on Wednesday night's telecast with his out-of-left-field selection of "Smell's Like Teen Spirit."
The reactions from judges Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson to Abrams' performance were very positive. Jennifer Lopez was a bit less enthusiastic, although she stated she still "loved" Abrams.

A live-action re-imagination of Nintendo 8-bit hero Super Mario as an angsty, mushroom-eating, down-on-his-luck plumber was a big hit this week at the South by Southwest film festival in Austin, Texas.
"Mario" is a trailer-length short which filmmaker Joe Nicolosi doesn't intend to turn into a feature film. You can check out all two minutes of the project below.

There's a part of my inner psyche that cringes any time I come across a YouTube video with the words "helmet mounted camera". It generally means I'm going to get vertigo from watching the video and/or I'm about to see someone do something really stupid/insane/death defying.

Personally, I think one of the worst inventions known to man (and marriage proposals) is the public event proposal. You've probably even seen one or two at a live sporting event. The happy couple pops up on the Jumbotron and suddenly the guy is pulling the ring out and popping the question... and more often than not, the weeping woman happily accepts, the crowd goes wild, and everyone feels a little better about themselves.
But that's not always the case.
