The Victoria County Historical Commission will hold n interesting and educational meeting tonight at 7pm at the Victoria County Archives Building, 205 W. Goodwin Street in Victoria. "Tracing  the Roots of Frederick Hiller" is a power point presentation by Danny Hiller. Frederick Hiller was an early German settler to Victoria who made a new and better life for himself.

Monday, September 8th at 7pm, join the Victoria County Historical Commission for their program "Joseph Lucchese-Victoria Boot and Shoe Maker". It will be a glance into the life of one of the brothers who founded the world famous Lucchese Boot Co. of San Antonio, Texas in 1883.

The Victoria County Historical Commission will begin the new year with an enlightening program about Victoria's once most elegant and renown structure-The Denver Hotel.
