It seems Little Big Town will get a little creepy in their latest video, 'Tornado,' set to release on Wednesday (Oct. 31). The eerie trailer for the video shifts through a series of classic Americana-styled scenes, including a clanging gate, crows, windchimes blowing in the strong breeze and a young girl jumping rope and playing hopscotch as the wind from an impending storm picks up. Various townspeople are seen looking up with awed expressions as the sky gets darker.
Song lyrics can stem from just about anywhere. Just ask songwriters Natalie Hemby and Delta Maid, who got together and knocked out Little Big Town's 'Tornado' lyrics. The song is the band's current single and the title track to their brand new album.
As of Tuesday, 118 people were reported killed by the twister, and Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon said he expected that number to rise as more bodies are uncovered from the rubble.
