Having the biggest country music scandal of any year is an honor that comes with few congratulatory messages, so it seems unlikely many will be showered upon Jason Aldean for winning at the 2012 Taste of Country Awards. His night out with dancer and former 'American Idol' contestant Brittany Kerr was named the Scandal of the Year by Taste of Country readers.

Country singers Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton were married Saturday evening at the Don Strange Ranch in Texas, Taste of Country is reporting.

Among the 550 guests were Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Dierks Bentley and Shelton's 'Voice' cohort, Cee Lo Green.

Lambert wore her mother's wedding dress, and later told US Weekly that she is "looking forward to a lifetime of laughter."

"I just don’t think there’s a better singer than her, so it’s sort of selfish to be able to sing with her and perform."

2011 ACM Winners: Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift Honored

Taylor Swift can add yet another trophy to her already-full mantle. The 21-year-old singer won Entertainer of the Year at the 2011 Academy of Country Music Awards, held Sunday evening in Las Vegas.

The big winner of the night, though, was Miranda Lambert, whose Grammy-winning song 'The House That Built Me' took home awards for Single Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Video of the Year. Lambert also won Top Female Vocalist of the Year for the second year in a row.

Fresh off their success at the Grammys in February, Lady Antebellum racked up the award for Album of the Year, as well as Top Vocal Group of the Year.

Taste of Country Counts Down the Top 100 Drinking Songs

Taste of Country recently counted down their pick of the Top 100 drinking songs in country music -- and whether your drink of choice be whiskey or beer, or your preference be the Dixie Chicks over Toby Keith, this list has it all.

The Top 100 drinking songs list tips a hat to seasoned drinkers like Merle Haggard, Dwight Yoakam, and Willie Nelson, but doesn't shut the door to the best of the 'newcomers,' like the rowdy Gretchen Wilson, party animal Kenny Chesney, and lonesome drinker Bradley Gaskin -- whose soon-to-be hit, 'Mr. Bartender,' is just making its rounds now.
