After it was revealed that the two titanic television season premieres would go head-to-head in ratings this evening (Sept. 12) on NBC and Fox, respectively, Cowell expressed his distaste -- and Shelton followed.

Some people are just irritating. Some people can't help it and others do it on purpose. I personally like to think  Simon Cowell is in the latter category.
