The holidays are winding down and we’re heading into the new year with a whole new schedule of films hitting theaters in 2015. January kicks us off with plenty of movie options to help you escape the winter blues, including anticipated releases like ‘Taken 3' and ‘Blackhat,’ as well as more action, adventure, and even a couple of family friendly releases. Read on for our guide to the new movie releases coming to a theater near you in January 2015.

Fans have been hungry for new music from two country artists and with the new country music releases for January 2013, the starvation will subside. Darius Rucker and Gary Allan will both release new albums early in the new year. In fact, both will release their long-awaited albums on the same day.

Compared to June, there are relatively few new country music releases in July 2012, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t any albums worth being excited about. One Nashville trio will make their debut, while a country duo returns after a change in record labels. There’s also a legend and a perennial award nominee releasing new country projects in July.
