The first 'Riverside Food Truck Fest' will be at the Riverside Park Special Events Area from 10am to 3pm Saturday There will be plenty of food truck vendors to choose from, live entertainment, and other non-food vendors.

The Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall will be on display Behind Myatt Elementary School on Blossom Meyer Street in El Campo starting Wednesday, July 15th. The names of 58,272 service members who did not survive the Vietnam War are etched on the Wall. Of those service members, 28 are from our local area.

Sunday at 8am you can Paddle the Guadalupe Delta to Seadrift. The length of the "paddle" is about 13 miles. The start is at Calhoun’s Riverside RV Retreat off H35 at Guadalupe River. Take out is at Seadrift Bayfront Park.  (Note: last 5.5 miles is in the bay, is subject to strong winds and waves, and is recommended for experienced paddlers only)
