Pretty clearly, the best part of Halloween is that you dress up in a fun costume and walk around acquiring delicious candy. Who doesn't love that? It’s been over two years since Martina McBride has delivered a full-length album of new material — and the wait just got a little longer for her fans.

McBride’s upcoming release, which will be her eleventh studio set, was scheduled for August, but Universal Republic has pushed it back a few weeks — to October 18, to be exact. She addressed the change in a recent blog post, calling it “a decision the record company made in order to give us the best opportunity for a great first week in sales, which so many people pay attention to in the industry.”
