The Goliad County Historical Commission will be hosting a free event featuring a lecture by author Gary Brown, who will be speaking on the topic of his upcoming book about the numerous historic bells of Goliad.
Legendary Country singer/songwriter/Certified Guitar Picker Steve Wariner is coming to Schroeder Hall on Saturday, April 5th. The 'Victoria County Aggie Mom's 5K Fun Run' will be at the Goliad Fannin Monument, Goliad State Park Hike and Bike Trail, 108 Park Road No. 6, Goliad, TX. (directions) (Yeah... I know... the "Victoria County Aggie Mom's 5K Fun Run" is in Goliad County... go figure)
The 30th annual Christmas in Goliad kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Friday with handmade arts and crafts, choral music and dancing in the square. At 7 p.m., the parade begins with a living Nativity scene.
Texas Farm Bueau Insurance and Farm Industrial presents the Goliad County Area Go Texan PBR Bull Riding and Dance Saturday night at 7pm at the Goliad County Fairgrounds, U.S. 183 South, in Goliad.
The Taste of Goliad Fundraiser will be February 8th at the Goliad Memorial Auditorium on County Fairgrounds Road in Goliad from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tickets will be $15 at the door, only $12 for adult pre-sale and $5 per child (10 and under).
