Actress Jennifer Garner and her actor/director husband Ben Affleck, married since 2005, have announced they are expecting their third child.

In a one-line statement released Monday, the couple, both 39, said they are “thrilled” at the impending arrival, who will join big sisters Violet, 5, and Seraphina, 2.
