Spring Festival at St. Michaels Sunday in Cuero

The annual St. Michael's Spring Festival will be held Sunday on the parish grounds at 309 E. Church St. in Cuero. A roast beef dinner will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with plates to go available. Meal tickets are $8, says the Victoria Advocate. A live auction with auctioneer Joe Adams begins at 12:30 p.m. Among the auction items are a bench with a large Texas A&M logo, handcrafted chiming clock, handmade quilts, a Green Egg smoker/grill, a working ceiling fan from the original St. Michael's School, golf outings, fishing trips, deer hunts in Terrell County, a weekend in Rockport, ribeye steaks, plants and baked goods.

Activities for children will be available during the festival, as well as a silent auction, cakewalk, country store and a raffle with the top prize a $1,000 Visa gift card.
