Share Your VC Memories

KIXS 108 & Victoria College students, alumni, employees and community members are invited to attend “Share Your VC Memories” from 12:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24 at VC’s Emerging Technology Complex.

“This will be a reunion of sorts for all former Victoria College students and employees,” said Victoria College President Dr. David Hinds. “The come-and-go event will be an opportunity for them to reminisce, renew old acquaintances and be a part of VC’s efforts to chronicle its history from those people who made VC what it is today.”

Following is the schedule of group alumni photos to be taken:

• 12:30 p.m. – 1920s, 1930s and 1040s graduates
• 1 p.m. – 1950s graduates
• 2:30 p.m. – 1960s graduates
• 3 p.m. – 1970s graduates
• 3:30 p.m. – Law Enforcement Academy graduates
• 4 p.m. – graduates involved in athletics
• 4:30 p.m. – 1980s graduates
• 5 p.m. – Allied Health program graduates
• 5:30 p.m. – 1990s graduates

Guests are urged to bring photographs, newspaper clippings and memorabilia from their Victoria College days for members of the Museum of the Coastal Bend to document, scan and photograph. Former Victoria College students and employees can also participate in oral history sessions. Some of the materials will be featured in a Victoria College history exhibit at the museum.
