Scotty McCreery took a well-deserved study break over the weekend (Feb. 2) to grace the Grand Ole Opry stage, offering the crowd an electrifying performance of Elvis Presley's 1954 classic, 'That's All Right.'

Often credited as the first true rock and roll record, 'That's All Right' was the very first track Presley released as a recording artist. The song failed to chart, but earned Gold certification due to its popularity on local Memphis radio stations. Presley eventually charted a total of 20 No. 1 singles, including 11 that also reached the top spot on the country charts.

McCreery first performed 'That's All Right' during the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-themed episode of 'American Idol' in 2011. The singer went on to win Season 10 of the competition and earned his own Platinum certification for his debut album, 'Clear as Day.' McCreery is currently in the studio putting the final touches on his sophomore release.
