Sara Evans Recognized By The American Library Association

I'm always amazed at the many talents, the unseen sides, if you will, of our favorite country music stars. It's obvious that they stay very busy with their music careers, and yet, many of them find time for other pursuits.

Sara Evans’ critically acclaimed book Softly and Tenderly has been named by the American Library Association as one of 2011’s Top Inspirational Books. The book is the second installment of the “Jade Benson” series, which tells the story of a Midwestern woman who “marries into a southern soap opera.” Sara has never been one to shy away from sharing her faith, which provides the foundation for the book. According to CMT Daily Roundup, sara said, “It’s very much a story about overcoming, forgiveness, redemption, and really, you know, understanding the whole idea behind ‘human beings will always let you down, but God never will.’ So, check it out. They’re really good.” Fans can currently pre-order the next installment of the “Jade Benson” series titled Love Lifted Me on Amazon.com. Sara will hit the road in January with Rascal Flatts’ Thaw Out Tour also featuring Hunter Hayes.
