Friday, December 2nd and Saturday the 3rd will begin the 28th year of CHRISTMAS IN GOLIAD.  Merchants will offer new items in their shops, the restaurants will feature fabulous food and the "Christmas In Goliad" vendors will feature new and completely handmade items.  Great local singers, bands and dancers performing throughout the day along Cowboy Poets.  And don't miss the "best dressed dog contest"  Look for Miss Ruby's Corral will feature authors who will be on hand to sell many interesting books.  The author's corral will be located in the pocket park next to the Chamber of Commerce.

Friday it's the Lighted Parade around the Courthouse Square.  Food booths and some crafts booths will also be open, entertainment and unique downtown shopping and dining.  Parade begins at 7:00 p.m.

And Saturday Santa will arrive at high noon riding a Texas Longhorn to is corral on the Goliad square escorted by Pony Express.  Photos with Santa and the Reinsteer are free but you must bring your own camera.
