San Antonio Hosts “America’s Got Talent” Auditions

NBC's top-rated summer series "America's Got Talent" is heading to San Antonio to continue the nationwide search for season eight contestants with auditions Saturday and Sunday at the San Antonio Convention Center, 200 E. Market St. Additional talent searches will be in Chicago on Jan. 26-27 and New Orleans on Feb. 15-16. Additional audition cities will be announced shortly.

"America's Got Talent" is the only talent competition show that is open to any age and any talent. The auditions are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for performers across the country to showcase their talents in 90 seconds to the series' producers in the hopes of being able to take the stage in front of the judges.

The Victoria Advocate says every type of performer is welcome, including musicians, dance crews, magicians, contortionists, comedians, singers, jugglers, animal acts and everything in between.
