The list of performers for the upcoming 50th Annual CMA Awards continues to increase its star power. On Wednesday (Oct. 26), it was announced that Randy Travis will take the stage to sing at the awards show along with several other respected country acts.

Parade reports that 2016 Country Music Hall of Fame inductees Travis and Charlie Daniels will both perform on Nov. 2, as will former Entertainer of the Year winners Ricky Skaggs and Roy Clark.

It marks an especially important moment for Travis, who's been working hard to regain his health after suffering a terrible stroke in July of 2013 that took his ability to speak and walk. The 57-year-old country icon stunned the industry and fans when he was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame on Oct. 16 in Nashville, and he got up at the podium to sing "Amazing Grace," which resulted in a singalong from the crowd in attendance.

Previous CMA Awards host Clint Black is set to perform, as well as past CMA Award winners Jason Aldean, Jennifer Nettles and Martina McBride and 2016 nominees Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton. Elle King, Pentatonix and Dwight Yoakam will also grace the stage at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena.

"This is a celebration of country music -- both contemporary and the classics -- that is certain to resonate with music fans," says Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, in a press release. "The 50th Annual CMA Awards will certainly reflect our history, but it is equally important to recognize our current nominees and the hits of today."

Past Entertainer of the Year winners Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Charley Pride, Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, George Strait and Alabama were added to the list of performers earlier this week, joining previously announced acts Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, Kacey Musgraves, Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Maren Morris, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Miranda Lambert.

Additionally, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood will sing some of country music’s most popular duets at the 2016 CMA Awards. Brooks shared the news during a press conference in Dallas on Oct. 13, revealing that he and Yearwood will sing a medley of hits during the broadcast.

The 50th Annual CMA Awards will broadcast live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Nov. 2 on ABC.
