RaeLynn fans will have to wait a bit longer to hear her debut album: The singer has delayed the release of WildHorse until 2017.

RaeLynn originally announced in September that she would be releasing WildHorse, her first full-length project, on Dec. 2; however, in a recent press release, the singer shared that "an amazing opportunity has come along that’s changed the way I’m thinking about my debut album launch."

"The big news will be coming soon," RaeLynn says. "I am SO excited to share it with you all and make 2017 the year of the WildHorse!"

Among the 12 tracks announced for WildHorse‘s is “Love Triangle,” RaeLynn’s current single. Other songs include “Your Heart,” “The Apple” and “Graveyard;” “Young” features Leeland Mooring, while “Say” is a collaboration with Dan + Shay. In recent weeks, RaeLynn has shared "Insecure" and "Diamonds" from the album as well.

A new release date for WildHorse has yet to be officially announced, but the project is available for pre-order on iTunes, with a release date of June 30, 2017, listed.

Following her appearance during Season 2 of The Voice in 2012, during which she made it to the quarterfinals as part of Blake Shelton‘s team, RaeLynn signed to Big Machine Label Group. She released a five-song EP, Me, in early 2015 and two singles on BMLG’s Valory Music Co., but in early April, RaeLynn revealed that she had parted ways with the label. She announced her signing with Warner — Shelton’s label home — in June.

“Fans are so loyal in this genre,” RaeLynn gushes. “The fans in this genre are so amazing and so rewarding, and like family; it’s such a blessing. I can’t wait to get a record out to them, because they’ve been so loyal, since I was 18, and they still stick by me, and it’s a really cool feeling.”
