In other Alan Jackson news, AJ has re-released his 2006 gospel album Precious Memories, which he originally recorded for his mother. The album includes many gospel hits including “How Great Thou Art” and “I’ll Fly Away,” and Alan is not opposed to recording a similar album down the road. In an interview with CMT Daily Roundup, Alan said, “We just had so many people still wanting it, it’s just amazing – that thing has sold and sold. I still want to do another one, my momma she’s getting pretty elderly now and doesn’t get out much, but I’d really like to do another version of that for her.” Alan will also release another album later this year which will include his current single “So You Don’t Have To Love Me Anymore” and a song featuring the Zac Brown Band.
You can hear Alan Jackson every day on KIXS 108.
