The second annual Lions Club Arts and Crafts Festival, sponsored by The Port O'Connor Lions Club, will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 8 at the Port O'Connor Community Center Pavilion, 3674 W. Adams St. (U.S. Highway 185). This is the first weekend of spring break for most people. There is no admission charge to attend the festival. There will be many booths with a wide range of vendors supplying items, reports the Vicxtoria Advocate. Shop for art and handmade items such as jewelry, gifts, crosses, knives, wreaths, wooden vases, purses, specially designed clocks, Easter items, keepsakes and treasures, plus decorative items for your lawn. There is sure to be something for everyone. The list is growing as new vendors are added. Also, be sure to enter the door-prize drawing.

For vendors, make your reservation and bring your own equipment for a booth space, approximately 15 feet by 15 feet, for only $20. The spaces under the Pavilion were reserved early by those who came last year. We already have a good number of vendors reserving spaces outside the Pavilion, but there is still room for your booth space. All items do not have to be handmade, just good quality.

Call now for your reservation as a vendor. Food vendors are also welcome. For reservations and additional information, contact Joyce Jordan, president of the Port O'Connor Lions Club, at 361-655-7999.
