Peace Officer Memorial Service This Morning

Today is Peace Officer Memorial Day.  The Peace Officer Memorial Service will be held this morning in front of the Victoria County Sheriff's Office located at 101 North Glass at 10 a.m.  You are invited to attend this event as they will honor and remember those that have made the ultimate sacrifice to keep our community safe.

In 1962 John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated this day as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as National Police Week.
