We’re all familiar with the Red Cross’ Disaster Relief efforts in the aftermath of hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, earthquakes and other large-scale disasters…but did you know that most of their disaster relief work is done locally, right here in the Crossroads? The Victoria chapter chapter responds to a home fire every 18 hours, with the help of their Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT) volunteers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
