Myra Hargrave McIlvain to Appear in Victoria

If you are into Texas history as much as I, then you don't want to miss this chance to meet this Texas historian and novelist right here in our city. Novelist and historian Myra Hargrave McIlvain will be signing copies of her new book, "Stein House," on Saturday at Hastings. McIlvain's book discusses the saga of a German immigrant family moving in the 19th century to the Texas seaport of Indianola. McIlvain will be autographing copies from noon to 4 p.m. at 5206 N. Navarro St.
