Miss Rodeo Texas Teen From Inez

KIXS 108 is always happy to see the youth in our area achieve their goals.

McKenna Greene, 16, of Inez, won the title of 2014 Miss Rodeo Texas Teen in San Antonio on June 26. She received a $3,500 scholarship, trophy saddle, trophy buckle, mohair jacket, luggage and other prizes. McKenna also won in speech, appearance, personality and horsemanship pageant categories says the Victoria Advocate. She is a senior at A Beka Academy, a distance homeschool. She competes in rodeo barrel racing, breakaway, team roping, cutting and goat tying. McKenna will represent Texas in numerous rodeos and community events throughout Texas and other states. She is the daughter of Wayne and Jackie LeJune, of Inez.
